how people will recognize your value before you even speak about it
stance is a universal language
I've worked directly with CEOs and Founders my entire career, since my first job.
One of the main lessons I've learned is:
You have the power to change the room you walk into.
I've seen people transform tense discussions into collaborative breakthroughs with just the right words, or shift the tone of a room by leading with just the right attitude.
Some people would call them “natural leaders”.
I say you can learn to become one.
The key to not only being seen but to be heard and inspire action, is to be deliberate about how you show up. It's about knowing and trusting the unique value you bring and using it intentionally, with just the right positioning.
In every room, there is an opportunity to lead.
And I'm not talking about bossing around, I'm talking about inspiration. About leading by example, not commands. Leading by respect, not fear.
When you know the impact you (want to) have on the people around you, you know exactly what to do.
However, most of us who know what they bring to the table don’t know how to communicate that. And communication comes in different ways.
One of them is how you position yourself when you enter the room, where people recognize your value before you even speak.
I believe stance is a universal language.
And to communicate that way, you must build up your quiet power.
This truth is: your presence speaks before your words do.
In a world obsessed with the cheap dopamine of noise and “crazy visuals”, those who move in quiet clarity and grounded self-awareness command deeper respect and stay relevant for much longer.
Because you’re not dependent on an algorithm and you’re not relying on the current hype, waiting for the next big thing.
You’re based on the one thing you can trust at all times: yourself.
You’ve felt it before.
When someone walks into the room, the energy shifts without a word.
That’s the power of stance — and it goes beyond reputation.
Reputation is a lot more based on others’ perception of you, rather than what you can proactively do about it, and build up.
Therefore, I’m not here to talk about your reputation. But the reality of who you are.
Quiet power is not about performance, but leveraging who you are to get somewhere.
You can’t control how others perceive you, but you control the message you send.
And controlling the message means (1) owning your narrative and (2) walking in a room with your value already embodied, not in need of validation because you’re legit.
In practice, quiet power is based on:
Being calm. Stable people make unstable people nervous.
Mindset: people are willing to wait to hear from you, you don’t need to speak over them.
Calmness is strategic. It gives you time and space to respond in the best way that works for you. When you want to act, do it calmly. When you want to speak, speak calmly. Take your pauses.
Being charismatic. It’s not about noise, it’s presence.
Mindset: it’s how people feel when you walk into the room.
You achieve almost everything with a good dose of charisma. Charisma is about how you make people feel, which means making them feel good about themselves. Charisma is about presence and warmth. People won’t remember the topics you talked about, but they’ll remember how you made them feel.
Being proactive, not reactive.
Mindset: the space between receiving and responding is where your power lies.
In school, we learn that the person who raises their hand first is the one who knows the answer. But in real life, that’s not right. Being first has its perks when you’re creating a brand or inventing a product, but to build a strong personal brand and establish a powerful presence requires other traits.
It requires you to be the person who considers the challenge, processes the information, and truly thinks before speaking, delivering a thoughtful answer, and showing credibility.
Focusing on the long term, not rushing for tomorrow.
Mindset: you don’t need to chase anything; you attract what you deserve. If you didn’t get what you wanted, it’s because you deserve a lot better.
In today’s overwhelming world, the person gradually building their legacy is the one who shows the most clarity and purpose in what they do. Such consistency is perceived as higher in quality and trustworthy.
In practice, Quiet Power relies fundamentally on:
Presence and elegance: let silence act as the mediator of your interactions.
Setting boundaries: not everyone should have access to you.
Intention: always act with intention.
Sharp communication: speak to be understood, not to prove yourself.
Energy: take care of your energy, and the energy you give others.
You’ve felt it before.
You walked into the room with a calm, deliberate pace. You made eye contact, but didn’t overextend yourself. You took your place, and they instantly knew: you belong.
In a world addicted to performance, distracted by the noise, we’re constantly told we must prove ourselves.
To pitch, to push, to speak louder.
But power comes in various forms. And quiet power is about depth.
By choosing clarity, conviction, and emotional intelligence, you’re not working under chaos. You’re owning a space that belongs to you the moment you arrive.
That’s all about stance.
And if we’re talking first steps here, one of the first things to work on is not your message, but alignment.
When you’re deeply anchored in your values, your mind and body follow.
When you’re deeply anchored in your purpose, you don’t dominate, you define.
Therefore, your first step is not to update your resumé, change your LinkedIn profile, or rewrite your pitch.
It’s to anchor yourself.
Think and write:
what do you want your presence to say about you?
what message are you sending without speaking?
what would it look like to trust yourself more deeply?
how would you like to make people feel when you arrive?
When we think and write, we gain clarity.
Just when we have clarity, we can set intentions.
Finally, your intentions will always guide your actions.
